Veterinary Clinics

A veterinary clinic carries the dental practice’s waterline problem, the hospital’s instrument problem and a boarding wing, usually with one person responsible for all three.

Why us

Why clinics call us

The standard you set yourself

Your dental lines grow the same film a human practice’s do, with no veterinary rule to point at. We hold you to the human standard and keep the record.

Numbers an inspector accepts

Every reading printed beside the standard it is measured against, dated and in a format you can hand over without explaining it.

Sized to the site, not the catalogue

Fixture count, peak draw and the equipment you actually run decide the system — not the square footage or the number of bathrooms.

Three water problems, one visit

Dental units, autoclaves and analysers all fail for the same reason. Treated together, instruments come out clean, analysers stop drifting, and the boarding wing sits on the same record.

Fitted around trading hours

Early, late or on a closed day. The people who fit it are the people who come back to service it.

What the system is

How it is put together

Three jobs in one building. We treat the dental lines the way a dental practice’s are treated, soften the water going into the autoclave and the instrument washer, and clean up the water your analysers need. You end up with instruments that come out of the cycle clean, analysers that stop drifting, and the boarding wing on the same record as everything else.

  1. THE MAIN
  2. One stage protecting three separate water problems in the same building.

  3. Instrument water for the autoclave, sized to your cycle count rather than to the bench space.

  4. The dental units are built like human ones and the biofilm behaves identically, so the line is treated the same way.

  5. Kennels and runs, where hard water is an expense rather than a clinical problem.

Pricing

What it costs

All three on one agreement over twenty-four months: $77 – $349 a month.

Test & Engineer

Assess & engineer the system

$250 – $450the panel, plus waterline sampling
$13 – $23a month, inside the combined agreement
  • Waterline samples on each dental unit
  • Conductivity where analysers need polished water
  • Hardness and TDS on the incoming supply
  • A recommended, engineered design for the site, drawn from your own readings
  • The assessment and the design are free

You pay for the laboratory work. Reading it, sizing the system and telling you what you do not need costs nothing.

  • Scheduled around surgery days
  • Waterline shocking and sampling on a quarterly cycle
  • Media, cartridges and RO membranes tracked and changed

Questions

What people ask us

What water systems does a veterinary clinic need?

Usually three: treatment for the dental unit waterlines, softened or purified water for the autoclave and instrument washer, and polished water for the analysers. One programme covers all of it, including the boarding wing. Fitting runs $1,000 to $5,500 depending on which problems you have, and upkeep $150 to $500 a year.

How much does veterinary water treatment cost?

The panel plus waterline sampling runs $250 to $450. Fitting runs $1,000 for deionisation at the autoclave up to $5,500 for a distiller plus kennel softening. Filters, the ultraviolet lamp and salt run $150 to $500 a year.

How often should veterinary dental lines be sampled?

We shock and sample the dental unit lines quarterly, and keep a dated log per unit — worth having whether or not anyone asks for it.

Why does my autoclave keep scaling?

Hard water leaves mineral in the chamber and on the instruments every cycle. Softening or deionisation ahead of the autoclave and the instrument washer stops it at the source.

Can service work around surgery days?

Yes. Visits are scheduled around your surgery days.
